And then there's the unabated iPhone shenanigans. Once you get wise to them it's mostly ok (unless you forget...), but for newcomer, I'm sure it's confounding: "what happened to my previous edit?!?". Or "where did my post GO? Oh, just refresh the page, ah yes, it's back.".

 

Or why are the recent activity alerts still the same as yesterday. Or why won't this comment save (sometimes) unless refreshed.

I suspect a clean install or major version upgrade would delete years of content.

 

I noticed on my iPhone, sometimes when save "won't", just scrolling slightly up/down, then it will.

Nother: start a new paragraph, First letter doesn't become upper case. Type a few letters, backspace them out, then it does.

If you're using the internet to monitor water tanks, and treatment and sewage treatment plants then you're a blithering idiot and people who vote for you to do important junk might find out the hard way some day that you should ALWAYS mistrust the experts at least enough to ask then honest questions about how they do their job.

New member here - is there help needed from the community to maintain the site, either technically or monetarily? It looks like it used to be possible to purchase items through a shop but none of the links work for me.

There have obviously been changes/updates made to the site software that are seriously affecting response times. Like the stupid AI pop-out that shows up on every page.

These changes should be backed out and sent back for further testing before attempting redeployment.

 

This site is falling apart. Daily, sometimes multiple times a day the server is blocked, excessive adds, non-functioning search functions, and various other malfunctions. It's time to shut it down and fix it right Danny...or whoever actually runs/owns this thing.
