    Isn't that proforma for this administration; just selective prosecution? Why does the current temporary AG get to lie to courts and get away with it????? If you or me tried that; we'd be in a gulag someplace; never to be seen or heard from again. Hopefully we're jailed in this country, so we have a chance to assert our rights....

    What could have given people the idea that the vaccine should keep them from getting sick?

    The viral dead end argument for getting the therapy was articulated by Rochelle Walensky around the same time. "Data have emerged again that [demonstrate] that even if you were to get infected during post vaccination that you can’t give it to anyone else".


    At the same time, docs who had a tough time getting media oxygen in the panic noted that when a virus is already endemic in the population, isolation isn't a viable strategy. Yet, schools remained closed.

    This is beyond D&K as originally been described. It was strictly over-estimation of depth and breadth of one's own limited knowledge.

    Newer version (perhaps D&K&W? :whistle:) adds under-estimation of others' knowledge, which cannot be assessed with the knowledge base of first person.

    D&K&W (uncertain if this description will enter common use) has the fascinating property that first person cannot grasp that D&K could have actually initially formalized the idea. For them it may simply cease to exist...

    Peter Pan's aeronautical ability was like that. Maybe we can develop a clearer understanding by the time the topic Hearing leads to an indictment.

    If it is as I predict never, then our task is not urgent.

    That “Talk Radio” program has moved this Monday to gender in sports. When I seldom catch a game on free TV, I prefer women’s games;
    • Smart not strength - they play a ‘thinking game’ instead of physical power.
    • Pretty to me - I like girls.
    I am sure when Dr. Fauci comes up again, they’ll once again blather away. Easy enough to tune to a different station or play my USB music. Just more ‘chum’ for our local fish.

    regardless of the political monkeyshines many don't realize that Senator Rand Paul is a medical doctor who has his own practice back in our state..
    he does a great deal of pro bono work and often goes on tours in remote underserved countries around the world to do free pro bono work to improve peoples lives
    He has helped his fellow Senators when they have experienced medical issues regardless of the political party they belong to,
    you would never hear about that side of him here on Prius Chat:
