I've been running this headunit for about a year now - in short, it's a very good (but expensive) headunit with OEM like functionality & interface.

You can find refurb headunits for around $700 online, add in another $200-300 or so for the maestro, wiring, trim etc.

Runs carplay almost flawlessly, it's only frozen on me maybe twice in the year. A simple restart fixed issues.
I got the larger 10.1" screen, it covers a little of the temp & fan control, but I use the steering wheel for temp & just reach under the headunit for fan speed. Maestro can read tire pressures/temp, coolant etc. No issues with steering wheel control, and you can program new functions (holding volume down for system mute, hold volume up for tire pressures, etc.) Unit is quick & responsive due to the newer quad core processor. Waze & Highway Radar apps + Valentine 1 Gen 2 are invaluable for distance highway driving.

Highly recommend if you can spend the money!
