Looking for a reliable mechanic in the Seattle area

    I have a 2006 Prius Hatchback. I get some things done at the sSeattle Toyota dealer, but the price they charge for routine, simple maintenance seems to high for me. Here is the list of what I neeed done:

    * Exchange brake fluid
    * Replace spark plugs
    *Replace PCV valve
    *Exchange coolant

    Maybe, depending on price and urgency:

    *Clean Mass Air Flow (not sure what this involves)
    *Clean/service fuel injection/air induction system

    I'm an hour south of Seattle and do lots of spark plug and MAF sensor and intake manifold cleaning and only charge $48 an hour because I work out my own garage because it's a hobby more than a job and I pass that price advantage on to person needing the work done.

    As for replacing coolant I only do that if coolant is not the normal color becuase modern engine cooling systems don't have the same contamination risks that cars had long ago.

    As for replacing brake fluid, that's only needed if a test strip indicates that there's water in the system because some on here have noticed that those who get a brake system flush have a shorter lifespan on their brake booster pump ($1500 part) than pumps that have never had their fluid changed.
