This month marked the end of my 3 year warranty, (which went unneeded), and opportunity to reflect on ownership and statistics of my current dream car. (Replaced former 2009 Prius dream car.) In spite of some idiot keying the passenger side at 6 months of ownership, at 3 years the car still looks new after the wash. (I have waxed it yearly.) I keep the tires "over inflated 2-3 PSI", and at 17k miles they still have 6/32 tread. The interior has faired well for being a step down from the leather seats and more plush carpeting of my prior Prius. Other than the annoying side pillar making left turns a pain, I have zero complaints about the car. It is fun to drive, quiet to drive, and comfortable to travel in. My 2023 so far had a 12v replaced a year into ownership when they also updated the plug in algo. So far, over 2 years now, the 12v is holding up. A month before warranty expiration I got the ”system malfunction visit your dealer." They replaced the clock spring/spiral cable. I’m enjoying the instant torque and overall responsiveness of the car. It is fun to drive.
