That illustrates yet another misunderstanding. The people who were asking to see your covid vaxx cards, were not "covered entities" subject to HIPAA.

You didn't have to answer, but they could legally ask, and could legally decline you from entering.

I would be surprised if a company felt threatened by my lawsuit funding capabilities. Certified letter likely air mailed to trash bin.

I can name two presidents in office during covid, can you? One especially was really bad at it, the first one who is also the one now, he tried to play a doctor. Isn’t that hilarious, a hotel manager guy giving the nation medical advice? Not funny for the victims though.
I am not a gun silencer buyer, but I know people who buy them know what the sole purpose of them to be made was. I don’t want to know the technical aspects of gun silencers, why would I want to know that.

Interestingly enough, the new M7 'features' a 13-inch barrel with an integrated can on the end which seems to keep the gasses where they should be AND keep the weapon from being overly muzzle heavy.
UNLIKE the M4's 14 inch barrel and mouse-round combination, the M7 fires an adult sized (6.8x51) bullet.
The suppressor is designed to do what they ALL are supposed to do which is principally to preserve the shooter's hearing.
Of course, since the NFA is about to go the way of the Allosaurus, those shorties (SBRs) will be widely available in the civilian market in due time. :)

ANOTHER thing that suppressors have in common with the Prius - LOTS of FUD out there by people who have strong opinions about something that they have no familiarity with.

Unless it's "Fire" in a crowded theatre or some similar scenario. ;)

Unlike firearms regulations, there is no prior restraint to prevent you from shouting "fire!" in a crowded theater. No tape or muzzle over you mouth. So if there really is a raging fire emerging, you can shout that.
It would help keep you from posting some of your misunderstandings about them, e.g. "silence bullets". They do nothing of the sort. They do attenuate or muffle the sharp gas blast that propelled the bullet, but the bullet's sonic boom or other flight-generated noise is completely unaffected. As is the mechanical noise of the firearm's operation.
Other than an old expression for which calendar it used to declare the date it was written, the Constitution and Bill of Rights do not mention God.

Do those right come from God? Or from the Magna Carta? Or somewhere else? That remains unspecified, and disputed.

I don't know of any Supreme Court justices who go that far. Certainly not the late Antonin Scalia, who wrote the ruling that overturned DC's handgun ban. Not even any Trump appointees. They all agree that some degree of regulation is permissible, even if the specific degree remains TBD.

No posts after @ETC/SS conflated firearms (or accoutrements) with Prius and I'm happy about that. It was a shot in the dark.

Several posts separately praised US' gun-ownership policies. Not entirely unique among nations, but stand outish. It's a common theme at PriusChat and I'd have been be surprised if it did not also appear here.

US' gun-ownership policies, while not entirely unique among nations, have interesting consequences. Which a large rug would be required for sweeping under.

Global firearms manufacture is an $USD 11.4 billions annual industry:
Firearms & Weapons Manufacturing Market Report 2025 | Industry Analysis
and for $295 one could learn how much of that is non military. Frankly I had thought it to be larger; maybe not close to $USD 700 billions cosmetics, but c'mon guys, market better. It cannot be known if US will later join sensible sensible countries later. Do your stuff now.

Firearms availability in US contributes to atypical suicide rates, mass shootings, and violent crime rates. Those have been presented around here before and tiresome to repeat.

Medical costs of firearms injuries in US are $USD 1.3 billions annually:
    https://jamanetwork.com/journals/jama-health-forum/fullarticle/2839237
So a favorable balance could be argued. However, do not expect health-care professionals who have treated firearms injuries to enjoin. They have seen things that no one ought to see.

Firearms availability in US persists as a 2A cudgel in some elections. Expect that to continue when other slogans lack traction.

    --
To me it is inconceivable that US will soon modify its not entirely unique position among nations on firearms. Those who support it and those who don't will continue to be vilified by their opponents.

To invigorate this post I would need to ask the internet how to obtain strong poisons, but I will not ask. Asking the internet questions about poisons (or bombs ) would be unwise for me. Believe it or not, those questions would also be unwise for you.

How to kill people? Beyond those here above, a person could use sharp metal implements, vehicles, or firearms. Not a complete list. All of them are more or less user available, and most of them also have benign uses. @ETC/SS asserts that intention drives public accessibility of lethal means. People buy firearms for defense; not for extrajudicial killing. That's the story.

People buy sharp metal implements and vehicles for utility; not for extrajudicial killing. So (and who would oppose?), people can buy those everywhere.

In a few countries, firearms are added to that list for public purchase. Old news.

In no countries is it OK for public to purchase highly effective poisons or bombs, or their immediate precursors. Potential harms vastly outweigh potential benefits, so, no. Intention does not figure in, as it does in US for firearms.

Only IF there was though. That's a pretty serious one.
