I expect the average price for one will be in the mid to high 40s within a year or so(once all the lines are running). And a top-trim will hit the low 50s. Low 30s examples will be extremely rare. Dealerships won't want to stock them because the margins will suck, and they won't be in super high demand because the real-world range will be sub-150mi. Almost all that will be actually built will come with the bigger battery packs to get the real-world range close to 200mi, and that will put the price at least into the low 40s by the time you're done with fees and taxes.

I'm not saying it's going to be a terrible vehicle, I just highly doubt it's going to be this magic bullet to upset the industry.

 

I bet that as soon as they crush Slate and there is no more cheap EV pickup market competition left they will quietly pull out of that market and go back to full-sized pickups.
