Dashboard Blackout Gen 2

    Hi ,

    I just lost the dash lights on my ‘09.
    I repaired this problem on my ‘07 a few years back with the help of this site. Was hoping someone has the or a link as I forget the process.

    There's loads of YouTube videos on this... One video mistakenly replacesthe 16v 100µF (microfarads) capacitor with same size when the best fix is to boost its power to prevent if from failing in the future with 220µF. I just did two of these in a row and its so much easier the 2nd time around. Suspect your previous experience will make this experience easier.

    Go to the back of the car undo the negative battery cable underneath the tail light 10 mm screw loosen it move it around hear the elec scratching noise notice the door open lite is magically on . Lock the gold grind screw down . As long as the door open light lights when you open the door you will have a display no door ajar lite no display
