Gen 2 (2005) tire recommendations please

I've had a 2005 Prius base model for two years (my first Prius) and 40,000 miles and boy do I love these cars!

I'd really value some new tire recommendations and thanks in advance. It came with what I think are cheap tires, "Suredrive Touring AS" is the brand, they are size 185/65 R15 88H. The car has the factory wheels.

It's time to replace them, I'd like something that holds the road well since I live in the mountains of Asheville North Carolina (stiff sidewalls?) Tires that offer a smooth ride, especially on the highway; and with the same or better rolling resistance so that I keep getting no less than 50 MPG all the time...

I don't mind paying for high quality since I plan on keeping the car until one of us reaches the expiration date.
