ways to fix this?

    so this morning my dad told me, "i broke that thing on the mirror"...
    then he drove my car... :unsure:
    after school i went to check it out, its like this

    basically i think only that black plastic trim thing is cracked/broken, IIRC he said he still have the pieces...
    so is this part hard to replace? or anything?

    i duno how to search this, gimme some keyword or something

    You can buy the body color part of the mirror separately for around $30 (don't ask me why I know that), but from the picture, it looks like the black plastic part is broken on your car, and I think that means you need a whole new mirror.

    Duct tape?

    Seriously, if you are handy, you might be able to find a mirror through a salvage yard and replace it yourself. Otherwise, I think it's time to go see your friendly dealer with cash in hand.
