Seems like medicine shoves out everything else in the brain, no? (meant in a kidding - not sarcastic kind of way!)

Huh. A few MDs here. Why don't you folks call the bluff of other posters on the board claiming to be MDs?

I'll speak for one MD on the board - I think we all know who it is - but medicine requires hard work and persistence, not necessarily intelligence or an open mind (not referring to any of the previous MDs who replied in this thread WHATSOEVER).

BS in Biology, in an MD program.

Oh goody personal attacks, I loveit when the educated elite start the personal attacks and attempt to point the finger at the ones they are attacking as intolerant, closed minded and hateful. Especially in a topic that the “certain†person hasn't even posted in yet. A topic which is about something that requires no annunciation of beliefs or opinion's just a personal but simple factoid about oneself. The fact that Mizra & Stev0 have taken this opportunity to disparage a person because he has an opinion or belief they don’t agree with just exudes class don’t you think? Exudes class, ya right! Much the same as they exude digested food!

I see no reason to be ashamed of a GED. Many people do not even get that far. Sometimes life happens and our schooling takes a backseat. It is what you are doing now that matters most. :)

My last grade completed, prior to attaining my GED, was 8th grade. 13yrs later I went to college and graduated with honors. The past shapes us but it is not our "fate". :)

Well, I pick up my Prius on Tuesday so I'm jumping in here as a first post. I'm excited to have found PC as I'm looking forward to turning off the reverse beeper before I leave the showroom (thanks!).
