Okay, I did it. But, I still have the opportunity to back out of this today. Do I really need GAP insurance. I purchased LoJack, GAP, TLC Service for 6 years, all totaling $3,300.00?

    How stupid am I?

Should I cancel any of the above?
    Help.

It is a potential $50 cancellation fee.

Cancel all of it. It's a boat payment for whoever sold it to you. Take the $3,000 to a bank and buy a 12 month CD at 5%. If you do get stuck with a $50 "cancellation fee" think of it as the price of a cheap lesson in money management.

Second that, back out, no way it's justified....if you spend that money on all your cars you'll end up far far in the hole. It's almost pure profit for your dealer.

I hope you didn't include it in your financing. If you did, you'll have to pay interest on it for the life of the loan. Not a big deal, but be prepared for it.

In colorado that amount is refunded back to the Financing company, not the car owner, unless he paid for it seperately.

While regular maintenance on your new Prius consists of oil and filter changes every 5000 miles, and air and cabin filters every 15,000 miles, plus the inspections to make sure wheels are still attached, if you decide you would feel more comfortable with the maintenance contract, or the extended service warranty, get it through PriusChat. Same Toyota warranties, usable at any Toyota dealer in the US (except maybe Hawaii), but at lower cost and it helps keep PC runing.
