Please help my wife -- with driving . . . help !!

I had read complaints somewhere about the rear view online before I even looked at a Prius, so it was something I was concerned about during my test drive. I found it a little annoying then. Three months later I don't even notice it.

 

I didn't like the bar either when I first got my Prius. But that one thing definitely wasn't going to stop me from getting one. I used to adjust the rearview mirror so I couldn't see out the bottom half of the glass. That way I didn't see the bar and it didn't bother me. My husband kept changing it back when he drove it and over time I got used to it anyway.
