MacDude: I hope you find what you are looking for! I love mine without the Nav. I use a Garmin Nuvi instead. The Nuvi base clamps down on the drink holder cover and looks great, plus I can take it with me in my other cars. B)

    Good luck,

    Lee

I have 1500 miles on my new Touring model, and I am getting a steady
50mpg with the tires set at 40/38psi.

Okay, I just calculated my MPG on my Touring. I am averaging 41.9MPG on 1790miles. This is pretty good considering I have a lead foot and am always speeding. This number may be low but its good for me. by the way I dont over inflate my tires either, they are still set to the same amount that they were when I bought it.

I just did my second gas tank with my new 07 touring edition package 5. I got 46+ miles to the gallon and I did a decent amount of highway driving at 70+ mph.

I obtained my 2007 Touring in November (after driving a 2005 for two years for 30,000 miles). I just turned 5000 miles this morning. I'm earning 48 mpg. Can't wait to get to 12,000 mi and get back to 60 mpg.

I just bought a touring on Wed. They seem to have a lot of them available in Houston, at least. I had all the colors to choose from.

    Greetings fellow Prius owners.

I picked up my Barcelona Red touring edition (package #2) yesterday in the Philadelphia area.
45 MPG yesterday in city driving.
Could not get myself out of the car.

Acc to my salesman there were several others available in the area, but with limited colors.
He had to dealer trade for this one.
He stated that Toyota will not be making any more touring editions.

FWIW I paid approx $1400 under sticker (was this good?) and was able to negotiate the 7 year/100,000 mile platinum Toyota warranty for $990.

    Bill :)

Went to a couple dealers in the San Diego area and one in OC. Saw a half dozen regular 2007 and usually just one Touring at each location. Just found out Toyota is extending the financing incentive through March. It's on a month to month basis.

I hope this is not the case, if so I might just go out and get one to replace my truck. I was kind of thinking of a base touring, just something to maybe add the solar panels to, or the plugg in hybrid system. I think I will call my dealer to day and see if this rumor is true for our area.

I spent much of February discussing the possibilities with the many Prius dealers in the North Bay area, and found very few Touring models around. I did find one in the color I wanted, but in CA Package #6 instead of #4 which would have done fine by me. That Prius sat on the lot during the February insentive period, and I picked it up last Saturday for what I consider a good prince, Invoice - $500.
However, in my discussions, various sales persons at the many dealers - Fairfield, Vallejo, Napa, Santa Rosa, Petalume, Alameda - told me many stories. Most seemed to center around Toyota reducing the number of Touring models being produced. One hinting at a problem with the 16" wheels. Others suggesting that the Touring was not worth the extra cost (they, of course, had no Touring;s on their lot).
My deduction is that, at least in this area where freeway driving is fast, and then you get into the coastal hills and winding roads, the Touring model sold quickly, leaving an awful lot of standard models in the lots.

Anyway, nice forum. I haven't fallen for a car since my old Rabbit, which I GTI'd to cruise these same hills.
My '85 4Runner is going to a niece to serve as a surfing ride, and I'll see what I can get for the Camry. But I've fallen for this hybrid ride.

First weekend in the hills and freeways average 49.6 mpg - driving like I'm used to driving...
