Who outed her? who sent her boyfriend to niger? And was her identity already known? Blaming the victim - we placed the yellowcake there - heck you probably think we destroyed the WTC's too. and you ignored my other points - of course. like what was libby convicted of and what were fitpatricks charges.

btw - how much did he spend on this witchhunt? i honestly dont know and find it curious that the driveby media does NOT bring that fact up seeing how they ALWAYS brought up the cost of the whitewater investigation and ken star's related costs. he got a guy for perjury - he didn't clinton perjure himself and all he got was impeached and disbarred - his butt should have been thrown in jail too by your logic. how about adultary - what should have been his punishment for that - too bad we didnt have sharia law then

btw - how do you feel about govt officials DESTROYING top secret material - you think they should get jail time? i mean u have sandy berger going back numerous times and INTENTIONALLY destroying top secret material - you think thats ok? i would have put his a** in jail in a heartbeat - wonder why he is walking free. and talk about lying - hillary did not lie about the rose law firm records and whitewater - her butt belongs in jail too.

I realize you don't care about the facts here, but we're/they're not lacking in the "balls" area, and we're/they're not wussies. We're just bright enough to know that an immediate withdrawl would result in even greater catastrophic failure in Iraq than Bush has created. The other vote, as you're fully aware, was to make a point..."we're not happy with the direction, do something different before we take more control of the situation".

If the dems did vote to stop funding cold Turkey when things got worse thent he repubs would say "see, we were doing better than you"....I know that's ultimately what you want...a way to transfer responsibility for the failure in Iraq from your own party to ours.

That is the American way... It is what we are taught to do, non-accountability, domination, overinflated self-importance and greed.

It might seem a moot point whether Bush and Cheney are sent packing or allowed to leave quietly, but I hunch it would make a big difference to how the rest of the world views the USA.

dont have a party bro. i just want the dems to do something instead of flapping their lips. all that hot air has to be bad for gw :D

<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE(burritos @ Mar 7 2007, 09:03 PM) </div>
no need - who gives a darn. their greatest punishment would be another two years of bush/cheney in office which is the reality and then another 4-8 years of a republican administration - say perhaps Rudy or Romney

country will not trust barak hussein obama or hillary in the oval office making decisions on protecting our children - perhaps i am wrong about hillary - if she wins bill will be confined to the white house making 18 year old interns over the vast plains of this country less like to be taken advantage of mr bill

<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE(F8L @ Mar 7 2007, 05:09 PM) </div>
i guess all those dems who voted for the war are now off the hook too? and how about all those dems that called for action after 9/11?

that non-accountability you refer to - are you referencing the dems? i mean now that they control both houses they are in control. this ball is in their court now. still waiting for them to do something.... anything.....

if you hate this country so much why dont you move north - less greed, less self importance , no domination.... sounds like a perfect fit for you. i personally like being #1 - wish the Knicks were too

<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE(efusco @ Mar 7 2007, 05:01 PM) </div>
yes they are wussies.

and iraq is not a failure yet - in spite of the dems best efforts to turn it into one. dems love when america fails - ie - vietnam - how does it feel to support a party whose highlights are our countries lowlights? tell me - how does it make you feel?

I thought exactly that when Bush proposed to a Democrat controlled Congress about a "Surge of 20K more troops"!

The Dems say "NO!"..

Then the Republican can blame the Democrats if it ends up being a complete failure.

The Dems say "YES!"..

Then, if the surge worked (unlikely), Bush could take the credit, pretty much saying "Told ya so!"..

or

The Dems say "YES!"..

The surge doesn't work.. 1 year later, Bush is gone and a Democrat now has this mess on his hands. 20K more dead, the buttwipe that started the war is out of Office..

_THAT_ is Bush's exit strategy.

<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE(dbermanmd @ Mar 8 2007, 08:38 AM) </div>
Yeah, see.. the thing is - BUSH LIED TO THEM. HE LIED TO US ALL.

Bush can claim he had "Faulty Intelligence" ..

That's his excuse..

The Dems that were onboard, well, they can blame BUSH. Thats how it works. He was wrong.

“It is true that much of the intelligence turned out to be wrong. As president I am responsible for the decision to go into Iraq...†--Bush

I'm no Democrat, but I know where the freaking blame lies here.. don't try to point the finger at the people that were LIED to.

This liberal sewer of misplaced ideologies preaches so much for tolerance. Tolerate this, tolerate that, can't we all get along.

In this thread, it's just a pack of rabid wild dogs wishing a feeding on the President of the United States.

Ya'll look like a bunch of idiots.

Like I said, welcome to the center. I don't mean that in any sarcastic way; I'm being dead honest. My mind is far from made up about the election. It's entirely possible that I could vote for him, too. (My man, Warner, decided against running...)

Coming from you, that's a compliment. :D

Thank you!

(Like you didn't support the billions Ken Starr--a rabid dog himself--wasted on the Clinton feeding frenzy. Puh-leeze. All spent so we could find out the intimate details of cigars and oral sex. What goes around comes around.)

Hello to all : It's been awhile since I posted. I just wanted to say my 05 prius is running fine, averaging about 48 MPG at 50,000 miles, and that I am looking forward to the day that Toyota makes a clean burning diesel hybrid FJ cruiser...Whoo-Hoo!!!

I'd also like to say that I was happy to see Spoodger Libby get convicted by a jury of his peers. I hope shrub and company sleep well at night with all of the American blood on their corporate portfolios.

I really enjoy reading all of the conservative blogs on the web that criticize shrub and company. More proof that even the kool-aid wasn't strong enough to actually fool all of the people all of the time. But, sadly, for Physicians nice person-istants like D-Bag berman, he will continue to carry water for the neocons and maintain his commitment to ignorance. This is because he knows there are no laws against acting stupid.

I also love to remind people that Clinton was impeached, and then acquited by the senate. Bada Bing!!!

Let me say thanks to the owners and operators of priuschat. Thank you. I check it often for TSB's and general knowledge about the prius.

Gotta go, I'll check back later this afternoon for all of the hate speak that is sure to be posted. Don't hold your breath, I probably wont respond.

Man Coulter can osculate my hairy brown hispanic gluteals.

Is this a representative opinnion? Ya'll are just out here looking to even the score as if this were a hockey game. Our guy lied to the fed and got impeached, so we can make that ok by impeaching one from the other side?

Or is LivelyChick out on his/her own and ya'll want to impeach because of a crime that was committed?

FYI, making foreign policy that disagrees with you personally is not an impeachable offense in the real world. That only works here on Prius Chat.

Bush and brainpower is an oxymoron.

It sounds like you and I have similar opinions. Were the Bush debacle limited to the Iraq war, my opinion might be different. However, the way things are going, it seems like we are approaching a point where abuses far beyond those of Iraq debacle are surfacing. It makes me wonder just how much will surface given enough time. The last time the a Bush was in office, a Quayle gutted environmental laws just because he could.

In this instance, my opinion is that the Bush admin has apparently grossly abused power, and this is just the sort of thing that the framers of the constitution were intending impeachment to be for. Certainly, if Bush were impeached, it would be a far, far, far more worthy proceeding than Clinton's impeachment was. I'm not saying that I condone Clinton's lies, and believe that he should have been truthful or plead the 5th if he was legally able to do so. But Bush's abuses, IMHO, have been far more egregious and are very well deserving of impeachment.

Perhaps if enough states have the guts to join in, Congress will get the message and do the right thing rather than doing things just because they can. If you believe Clinton on his impeachment, congress did it just because they could. That is what I would term a vast waste of time.

Dear poor poor doberman...Follow me here if you can:

I approach you and tell you the 'nasty team' will come bomb and kill your personal family. I have 'proof' and you'd better act right this minute and never mind my 'proof'. You are so concerned about your family you sign on to my 'protection' plan. Now that you have signed on it is proven that I lied about my 'proof'. Are you are no less a fool for signing on due to my lies? I think not. I think you'd become outraged at your ill placed trustworthiness, and want to retract your faith in me and my 'protection' plan. I'd say "too late" I suckered you in and you are stuck and offer up our signed contract as legal binding proof of your continuing obligation. I'd treat you as a sucker for signing up in the first place. Would you back me no matter what? Again, I think not.

Oh, and furthermore, no party 'controls' both houses. There is a very slight majority only if you count a traitor on the majority side.

You are no less transparent than Coulter, Cheney, Rove, your friends at faux 'entertainment-news' network, or a whole slew of others who wear your uniform. You are as personally responsible for the quick demise of this country as your beloved leaders because unlike many of your party, you still can't see beyond your ill placed goodwill. Luckily your type are increasingly seen as dinosaurs even by your own compatriots. By being unwilling to change with the times and events you are condemning your party to a couple of generations of darkness. This will open our way of governance up to huge problems (since power corrupts ALL parties) and it will be especially YOUR fault for being a blind follower when times were tough and distasteful decisions had to be made and you were 'absent'.
