Would it be as big a distraction as waging war with, and invading, a tiny country on the other side of the planet based on inaccurate "intelligence", spending years and billions of tax dollars and allowing thousands of our kids to die fighting for the right of the oil companies to ....ah never mind.

Nope, not really. You were just commenting that we were all like rabid dogs wanting to feed on the President. I was just pointing out your hypocrisy.

I will tell you with certainty that I NEVER want to know intimate details about a President's sex life, whoever he/she may be. And if someone has the audacity to ask personal details about the President's sex life (provided it's not a CRIMINAL offense), then I have no problems with that same President lying--the question shouldn't have been asked in the first place. And therefore, I wouldn't think impeachment would be warranted. Again, my opinion.

However, compared with lying about the reasons for starting a war...that I can't deal with.

Thinking the constitution is just a GD piece of paper...he took an oath to uphold it, after all...that I can't deal with.

Saying that if treasonous leaks came from his own office or that of his cabinet, he would "deal with it," then not dealing with it at all...that I can't handle, either.

Throwing a surplus away on an unjust war...that I can't deal with.

Losing focus on who the bad guys really are...and letting them remain free...that I can't deal with.

I have no desire for evening the score. Hell--it isn't even the same game, so it's impossible to do so. I DO have a desire to ensure this Prez goes down as one of the worst in the history of this great country. Adding impeachment to his other "legacies" would help this cause.

Is there anything you can handle? Doesn't look like it, but just checking.

You're not getting your impeachment. You heard it here, it's not going to happen. Foam about the mouth about it all you want... Just not gonna happen.

Hahahahhaa.... and I think that's GREAT!!! No impeachment for you or yours... LOL.... SWEET!!!

The fact that you can take such glee from such a serious issue and just lump it all into the laps of "the libs" just gives 100% credence to a policy of ignoring your worthless, pointless, thoughtless and ridiculous posts...if only I could use that feature....

How about a censure? Can we get a censure for Bush & Cheney, I would be happy with that.

If you'd have bothered to look at the second post in this thread (I know that paying attention to important things isn't your forte', but humor me) you'd know that I was the first to say that it would be a waste of time and money and that I'm not for an impeachment. That is most certainly not an endorsement for Bush.

*edit: sorry, it was the 4th post of the thread, still the first to stat I think it's a bad idea.

Moderators: Isn't there an age requirement that posters to Priuschat have to be more than 4 years old?

    Just wondering.

Lets skip impeachment and go directly to a war crimes trial .
I accuse Bush Cheney Rumsfield with the targeting and murder of journalists in Iraq.

I agree with the guy saying this would be a waste of time. It's VERY late in the game - spending the money, media focus and congressional time to handle this would produce no beneficial end result for the USA except more hits on the economy, Wall Street uncertainty, etc. The 'feel good' element of having done it would not be worth the cost.

I initially was in favor of Clinton being impeached at the time due to my anger at his lies and his past corruption (and Hillary's), but in the end, that too was a total waste of time. Nothing good came of it.

The time for impeaching Bush would've been, oh, the last election. Or before, when found that our military was thrust into the Quest for WMD's that weren't there... Or any number of other scams: Halliburton, Bin Laden family being ushered out of the country right after 9/11, etc.
