http://www.humanevents.com/article.php?id=19720 Shooting Elephants in a Barrel by Ann Coulter Lewis Libby has now been found guilty of perjury and obstruction of justice for lies that had absolutely no legal consequence. and further down the article... As a result, Democrats have run wild, accepting bribes, destroying classified information, lying under oath, molesting interns, driving under the influence, obstructing justice and engaging in sex with underage girls, among other things. Meanwhile, conservatives of any importance constantly have to spend millions of dollars defending themselves from utterly frivolous criminal prosecutions. Everything is illegal, but only Republicans get prosecuted. MJ here...Let's see here. Going after a sitting president for a BJ, spending millions of tax dollars, dividing the country and attempting to thwart a duly elected presidents agenda is patriotic but a non partisan jury applying the same standards to a repub is sinful. Not acknowledging that Libby was the fall guy and the whole trial was a sham to protect Cheney and Rove is not relevant. Next quoted sentence...Using the tried and true repub standard of lying, exaggerating and any old dirty trick to paint the 'other' party as bad is OK. Next sentence...'only repubs get prosecuted' more lies and exaggerating. These people are so laughable, no wonder they can't govern. They're still using the same play book that NIXON used 30 years ago!
And unfortunately, she got your attention. She's crazy, but certainly crazy like a fox. What a great way to have the right lunatic fringe line your coffers...

Just as a sidebar, did anyone else notice that while the above link points to a list of Republican sex scandals, the same web site does not appear to have, at first glance, a corresponding list of Democrat sex scandals? This calls into question dKosopedia.com as a credible information source.

<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE(livelychick @ Mar 8 2007, 01:48 PM) </div> That's what happens to me sometimes, I watch an HBO Young Comedians show and I get the urge to change my signature. Go figure. Maybe it's seeing Maher as a young comedian before he really started pissing off neocons.
<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE(Dan-Wolfe @ Mar 8 2007, 12:46 PM) </div> I'm not really willing to attempt to defend the validity of either sites. I just grabbed the first two that came up in my Google search. There were many more and I would probably bet money that if anyone searched the names and the allegations they might find at least one source they might think of as credible. The only reason I posted that with the quote was to point out that both parties live in glass houses: the House of the Senate and the House of Representatives not to mention the White House.
Heard on the news this morning that Coulter's column is being dropped from a number of newspapers across the country. Many people, even Republicans, are realizing she's not worth listening to.
