Am I freaking out over nothing by worrying about the bisque interior getting dirty? It just seems so light, I hope it doesn't get really nasty.

Bisque owners, what's your experience? Should I ScotchGuard the interior?

Our 04 had bisque interior. It did show dirt but for the most part was fairly easy to clean. We had the dealer install fabric protector when we got it. When we cleaned it up for sale, the upholstery looked fine except for the front edge of the center consol cover which was darkened from repeated opening. The carpeting was not quite as easy. We had the Prius floor mats and had stopped using them because of the spotting. We had replaced them with some dark red waterhog mats. There were also some spots on the cargo mat that we couldn't get out. For those reasons our 07 has dark gray interior.

Congratulations on your new purchase. I am on my second Prius w/ the bisque interior and they do show dirt more quickly than the grey, the fabric does not stain and will clean up like new with any good cleaner. On my first Prius, an 05, the carpets stained easily but w/ my 06 they have not yet stained w/ lots of use. I do meals on wheels w/ my Prius and food spills are common buts clean up easy. Enjoy.

Good to know, thanks for the heads up. I can't wait to pick it up from the dealer tomorrow.

If you can see your way clear to spend the money, invest in the seat covers (at least the fronts) from Okole. They have a variety of colors to choose from. I am very happy with mine. The kit comes with a console cover also.

In addition, I got the heavy duty floor mats from Exactmats. I got the kit with the two front mats and the one long mat for the back. My floors are as clean as can be!

Good luck with the Prius....you will love it! :)

Very cool... Do you have a link for the Exactmats? I checked their site, but they don't have anything in the way of pricing or car models.

    Congrats!

I have an 05 with the beige interior. It's holding up nicely but I do take care of the interior. I have all-weather rubber mats to 'protect' the carpet mats and I vacuum and clean routinely.

I got the exactmats for our 07 Prius with the bisque interior as well. I got front, back and cargo mats. They fit perfectly and are clear so they look nice. Very well made and well worth the money. I think I spent $120 with shipping.

    The seats clean pretty well.

I'd get exact mats for the floor. I have them over the floor mats. And I have one in the cargo area too.

Where do you folks purchase the exactmats? on-line anywhere? They sound great.
