Hi there I am looking into buying a 2007 Prius from a local dealer (Bay Area California). Option #6 "Loaded" in Gray. (they said this is the most wanted color and option package)

The price I was quoted was $27,350 or $500 over invoice + Tax and Lic. (no other fees) Is this a good deal? or a great deal? Anything special I should consider?

    Thanks!

We were offered the invoice price by the Palo Alto dealership at the end of February. We used the Costco program and talked to a designated person. Actually the Costco price would have been more but they offered us their current best pricing. We didn't buy there but spent about $500 over invoice from an Auburn dealer (AAA price) because it was easier to get delivery to Nevada.

Get online with Barber Toyota in Fairfield...they have been dealing the Prius for about $ 500 below invoice for online inquiries. Ask for Marie or Raymond.

I purchased a 2007 Prius with Pkg 2 last Friday from Toyota Sunnyvale for $1600 below MSRP. They had a ton of them on the lot, including several color options for the package I wanted (drove off in a bright red one - although I was very tempted by that beautiful dark grey!)

They sent out an e-mail yesterday advertising their "Very Best Prices". I don't mean this in a bad way, but those prices were the same prices they sent out at the beginning of February, and I found other dealers were willing to go much lower, so please be advised that there's still room to haggle. :)
