$25,161 good price for Package #5?

Sounds like a pretty good price. A bit better than I did on the same package less than a week ago. Was there a trade involved in your deal?

Don't forget the 2.9 interest rate Toyota has going on until the end of the month. It's 0% if under 24 months.

Package 6 is with leather, package 5 is is the same without leather seats.

 

Sounds like a helluva deal to me. I just took delivery of a 2007 Prius Seaside Pearl Package 5 with all weather mats for $25800 pre tax/doc/registration. This was a NJ/NYC area purchase.

Regarding discrepancies on invoice... beats me? I shopped via phone from multiple dealers in four states. Every dealer quoted the same invoice of $26K, which was about 700 over Edmund's invoice. I'd like to trust Edmund's, but when 5 dealers in the general area independently quote the same invoice without collusion (well, perhaps without), I surprisingly find myself inclined to accept the dealers' quotes at face value. And I never in a million years would have believed those words could come from these fingers... accept a car salesman's quote? Unreal!

Anyway, loving the car and the low APR. I'm pretty sure I'll love the tax incentive come 2008 as well.

for what it's worth.. I just bought my '07 from El Cajon Toyota (San Diego).
I used the Edmunds.com site and requested a quote from all the local dealers for a Package #6.
All the dealers, except El Cajon, were quoting $28K plus. El Cajon said they guaranteed $1,000 below their invoice. According to Edmunds, invoice was $26,360. El Cajon offered a price of $25,780.. It was close enough.
I hate the dickering which seems to be a part of the new car sales process. I felt they kept to their word and decided to go with them, rather than playing games with the other dealers.

I maybe could have gotten it for a few dollar less, but than again maybe not. I figured any possible savings would have been wiped out if I hadn't purchased before the Tax Credit of $1,574 was cut in half on April 1st.

Plus I was able to do the 2.9% financial.

<div align="left">You got a tremendous deal! The dealer must have been trying to make a sales quota because this is very good. I know in the Central Atlantic area all they are offering is $400 in factory to dealer advertising support. My guess is that there are bigger factory to dealer incentives in California or the dealer got a special incentive to meet a sales quota which they were very close to making. Anyway, congrats on a very, very, very good deal.

I just totalled a 2007 touring without nav but with Bluetooth. (is that pkg 5?). I have an insurer offering $21300 to settle. They didn't take account of the touring feature or BT or the low-emissions sticker, which in the bay area is worth a lot by itself. How much should these things affect the value?
