Wait a second... you can go 10K in between oil changes? Is that for real? I've been changing every 5K.

Now I have to actually read the receipt from my 60K checkup and see if the fluid was changed. I doubt they'd have passed up and opportunity to do it if it looked at all shaky...

    Hi Ray, welcome back!

I love that quote lol. Count the number of times you've gotten LESS than 600 miles while the rest of us are counting the number of times we got over lol.

    Thanks for the update!

I got a voicemail yesterday from one of my friends that bought a Prius and sold a Suburban after riding in my car a few times. He was excited to tell me about his first tank over 54 MPG. This with a short commute in steep hills. They usually tell me that it's not possible to get in the fifties in their car. My answer to that is to go to lunch with them and then after lunch we go for a ride in their Prius. I drive it to the station and fill up the tires. Then I hit reset on the mileage screen and then we take a 15 minute drive on the highway and through neighborhoods. If I get over 60 mpg they owe me a lunch. If I get less than 55, I owe them one. Who said there's no such thing as a free lunch. After that I get the calls at each new milestone. Funny how they think it's the car that's getting broken in. I think it's the driver.

Good to see a lot of the old faces. My post count is way down compared to some of ya'll.
