How's about we try to get a group buy from Factory Interactive for their SiriusPrius. Jon from Factory Interactive said he has never been approached but would consider doing one. If we got a deal I would be all over it. We have 2 Prius vehicles and I bought this unit for one of them. It was easy to install thanks to the kits video. I'd love to get another unit for our other Prius.

Depending on the final price you can put me down for one. However, if there anything down the pike from them that would combine ipod/sirius/video into one box I would wait for that. Not likely but while you are negotiating pricing you could ask them about it.
    Thanks

Is he still selling them for about $400 (not including a group buy discount)? According to this thread, Metro is selling the Toyota Factory Sirius radio that just came out for $250.

Well it will be interesting to see what the Metro Sirius kit really is compared to the Factory Interactive kit. I think Factory Interactive uses a Solaris receiver. So how do you go from $400 down to $250? Did they leave out the cable?

I haven't added it to the Shop yet, but we'll have it in the Shop soon for around $250 as well.

Really? So what is the difference as to why it is so much less expensive than the $400 kits?

    Any word on this?

When could we see it added to the PC shop?

Would this be the Factory Interactive one, or the one that Metro sells? (or are these items the same thing?)

Any official input would be awesome, as I am looking for a Sirius solution (or a plan) within the next week or so.

    Thanks!

My understanding is they model numbers are the same. So then why is FI selling them for freaking $400!!!?
