I'm thinking about buying the Motorola Blnc Bluetooth Car Kit IHF1000. I know for facts of several successful installations on other cars. But never heard any Prius owner installed bluetooth car kit. Can't believe there is no prius owner done that, considering all other mods have been done. Anyway, anyone?

Of cause this is for none-option6 prius owner.

I to don't have the Nav with Bluetooth for my phone... This post is old so I had to crank it back up. I really want to install a true handsfree solution for my Prius. I can't stand Bluetooth ear pieces, they are just a pain to deal with no matter BUT it would be nice to have this Moto IHF1000 installed and wired into the startup of the vehicle. I hear nothing but great reviews. I don't really care for integrating into the stereo, the 5watt external speaker can be mounted. It's really all about the mic though.

So, has anyone installed something like this yet?
    Thanks!

I have a Parrot Easy-Drive and love it. Just plug it into the lighter socket and velcro head unit to dash under power switch. You can then change it from car to car. Unit pulls up my phone numbers from the phone and will also give battery and signal levels. You do need a bluetooth phone with voice dail or you can program phone numbers into it.

That's great! Thanks, I couldn't find a two piece setup like this, it's crucial to really have a good mic to limit cross-talk. I just read a few reviews and it looks like 90% of the folks who have this are happy. Thanks for the advice! I'm going to find out where to order -- Thanks
