    Now that you have me thinking, I don't recall if my car speaks the name of any exit or street. It refers to them by distance (miles in English and Km in French) or by their order of proximity (second exit, next exit, etc.). I guess I am going to be experimenting on the way home.

    OK, I got it. It only identifies freeways, highways and interstates by name and it does so by route numbers, i.e., Route 405 as opposed to San Diego Freeway, in both English and French.

    I think it's different - isn't the US one an ultrasonic microphone thingy that listens for broken glass? (And is it visible?) In the UK it's a microwave motion sensor hidden in the overhead light box.

    Yes, I'm sure. I've added my own removable Thermos now, it fits in the cup holder nicely and holds exactly the right amount of coffee <_<

    Let's add two more for EU Prius (although I'm not sure if this is valid for whole EU - it is just judging by my car):
    - no panic button in FOB
    - no glove box LED light

    Panic button: true.
    LED light: I do have one, it only works when the headlights are on. There's a bit of black spongy material around the button that opens the glove box, presumably to stop light leaking out, looks like an afterthought added after complaints. That spongy stuff will never last the life of the car, bet the next model will have a regular switch again.

    That 12V socket is not there on RHD (right hand drive) versions, they did not bother moving it to the left side but just left it out. So it's not a EU vs US difference, I think Japan, Australia don't have it and continental EU does. See photo on the first page of this thread, that's an Australian RHD example.

    1. Auto doorlock when shift to Drive
    2. Auto headlight on/off
    3. Self-park (Maybe Japan only, not sure if EU has it or not)
    4. Sunroof (tilt and slide)
    5. Laser guided cruise control

    My T-Spirit UK Prius has two 12V sockets.

    Also, you can't get auto dimming rear view mirror here in the UK.
