With 6,000 miles on the 2007, I have a short list of things I wish it had/did.

Number one, by far, is I wish the MFD could track mileage separately for each key fob. This would spare my wife and I periodic squabbles about who ruined whose mileage.

Number two is, rather than us having to block the grille in cold weather, I wish the car did it. A temp sensor, some motor-actuated louvers, and voila!

Number three is I wish the seats were adjustable. I don't need power, just manual height and seat cushion tilt. The stock seat isn't bad, but it could be better.

Number four is why can't the durned car be smart enough to turn off its interior lights after an hour or so, even if the hatch wasn't firmly closed? Ditto the other interior lights.

That's about it. This is one heck of a car.

I lived through two winters and finally started blocking the grill during the third. With Mother Nature's mood swings and the temperature rising and falling, I have removed and replaced the blocks a few times.

Someone suggested that the grill louvers should be opened/closed based on a calculation of the outside air temperature and the engine's temperature.

Hi John. The car will turn off the front and rear dome lights, controlled by an open door or hatch, after a period of time. It won't shut off the cargo, map, or vanity lights, though.

I'm a bit confused here. I have a 2004 and I have a height adjustment lever and a back adjustment lever on the driver's side (wish it had a seat tilt though). Did they remove the height adjustment lever on the driver's side?

Looks like you're in New Zealand, which probably explains the difference. North American spec Prius don't get a height adjuster of any kind. I need the tilt, too. And another inch of leg room.

I still think there must be a way to retrofit the adjustment from a different Toyota model.
