I can't remember if I've posted in this thread yet. Anyways, I'm 22 and own a 2005 Seaside Pearl. I've had it since October 28th, 2005.

Just turned 25 and I bought my '07 Prius last Monday. I'm absolutely thrilled with the Prius. I've bought 9 new vehicles since the age of 16 (ranging from the 350Z, RX8, and similar cars) and I lost the desire to drive like an idiot and the need for speed. I just put along now :p

I suspect 16 is the youngest. I know there's at least one 18 year old, but haven't heard (although I could have easily missed) of any 16 year olds.

Congrats on your new car, and welcome to PC.

:D I can't wait to get mine in 2-4 weeks! I have been talking to all my friends about me getting it and it seems to be a big hit. I am hoping the Prius will be an better car than my Tundra (2000).

I' just turned 21 in April!! I bought my Touring package #5 in February (I was 20 at the time) I love my Prius and am planning to keep it for a very very very long time. but I am still planning to upgrade to the current ones when they become available.

I turned 26 but have been trying to get one since I was 25!!! :p I'm also married with a kid so there are plenty of other things I'd rather spend money on aside from gas. What attracted me at first was the fuel economy. But, the more I looked into it and read about specs, technology, etc......I became totally hooked. I'm in LOVE!!!!

We were approved for 6.9% over 5 years at the dealership we had gone to first. That works for us since my old car which we had already paid off will pay off my husbands car. Now with the Prius, we'll have just the one payment (less than my husband's car payment) AND save on gas to boot! So the savings is GREAT but even before we had worked out the financials, I've never been more excited about another car!!!! :)

    I'm 22. (23 in 2 weeks!) My '07 Prius w/ package 5 is on order right now!

Graduated college in December, moving to NYC around the end of the year.... F150 just isn't going to cut it there. Plus I'm going to need the nav to find my way around!

I can't wait for it to get here!

I'm actually 27 so I missed the cutoff for this thread but I'd just like to comment on the immense interest in the prius (and formerly in the insight before it was discontinued) amongst the ABD (All but dissertation) crowd. It seems like every other person is jonesing for the day when they can afford to ditch their 80's sedan or station wagon for a clean hybrid. Some combination of desire to reduce environmental impact, desire to have lower operating costs on thier vehicle, desire for fancy technology, desire to reduce the bottom line for the Carlyle Group, and other more individual reasons seems to make the folks currently nearing their terminal degree come off as very pro-hybrid.

The catch is that few of them have the means to acquire one. To tell the truth, neither did I but the premature death (ok, many say overdue) of my '88 Camry SW forced my hand last week and I just made the investment in a '07 package 2. Everyone that has seen it so far has been jealous (except for the insight guy in the physics department who calls me a lightweight).

I'm 22 and this is my first car purchase. Really happy with my prius :)

I did notice though that most of the prius drivers are older.

I'm 22. Bought mine last week. If it is true that most prius owners are older, than they can chalk this one up for the argument that older people are generally wiser, because this is definitely a wise-choice car.

I'm 20 and graduating with a B.S. in computer science in 2 weeks. Just got a 2007 package 5 seaside pearl. My graduation present from my mother was half the down-payment and the first two months of payments. After that, it's _all_ mine. :D
