Strange Slapping Noise

    I've noticed a strange noise that sounds like plastic slapping around the area along the bottom of the doors. It only happens on one road I travel, but it happens every time I go down that road. It's a two lane blacktop with grass along it; no shoulder.

    I've checked and nothing's loose on the car. Any thoughts?

    By any chance is there solid fencing near the side of the road? Could be reflected sound if there is.

    Nope. It's open for about 40 - 50 feet on both sides. I'm thinking that maybe it's some harmonic wave echoing back off the grass. Both sides of the road slope down from the road.
