    hello..
my first outing here..so pls be gentle.
have set up our bluetooth inputting info re: both of our cellphones.
still have to go into the screen to manually select whichever phone we are using.
shouldn't the system be able to detect whichever phone is on when entering the car (if only one is on..of cuss)..and enable it automatically?
    dumb system..if it doesn't.
if it does..pls share the secret.
    many thx..

Our Prius detects my phone and my wife's phone automatically and correctly so long as only one phone is near the car. Both of us have Treo 700 WX's.

We have the same experience. There is a default phone setting. If the system can't find the default phone it seems to select none. You "of cuss" can't have two default settings. It would be great if a rolling selection option could be activated. I couldn't find it in either standard or diagnostic phone options.

I am just starting to use a bluetooth phone. I noticed that with the phone in our home, car in the attached garage, that it was still getting a strong enough signal to be recognizing the phone. If you had both phones near enough to the car and on, maybe the car is still in contact with the default phone.

What helps for us is setting up different user profiiles. The annoyance is to make sure you set your profile before you head out on the road.

Also, since by default the Blluetooh setups is "HAND FREE" "1111" I think it would be good practice to change it to something a little more unique.
