    Well, I'm not an "aging hippie", but I love In-A-Gadda-Da-Vida! Especially the long play version.

    Yea, i'm gonna go with Oz on this one. You don't have to be an "aging" hippie to love Iron Butterfly.

    I had them on an lp ( they now call it vinyl). But my son took it so it wouldn't get ruined. Gotta find it on disc someday.
    was popular at parties.

    I did get to hear the old Steppinwolf "Slow Flux" album played on xm a few months ago

    My dad was a classical violinist by profession, In-a-gadda-da-vida was the first album I ever bought. Dad hid it from me as soon as he heard it. I had to pick the lock to his instrument closet so Icould play it when my parents were out. The drum solo was the first bit of kit drumming I ever learned. And Doug Ingles keys were beautiful.
