    Hello all!

I bought my first Prius yesterday. Package #6. I laughed when I filled it up for the first time an hour ago. I just got out of a Lexus LS 400 that has gotten me through 150,000 in the last 4 years and thought I would be uncomfortable in the Prius. I was shocked to find out how much room it had on the test drive and bought it immediately.

My questions are after looking through the board today:

    1) has anyone found a hack to duplicate the iPod screen inc. cover art on the MFD?

    2) anyone installed the carbon dash kit?

    and finally

    3) I have seen the term 'hypermiling' and found a definition, but could anyone provide their methods?

    Many thanks!

    Hadman

Look up the term pulse and glide , it is very easy to master given the right road conditions

Welcome to PriusChat, hadman. Look through the mods forum to see various "wood" dash trim kits. I haven't seen a "carbon" dash trip kit, but it might look cool. I personally like the textured surfaces better than the smooth painted surfaces of the 2004-2005.

    Hypermiling is extreme P&G.

Theoretically, if you got a DICE iPod unit and a cradle with video out and a gizmo to get video into the MFD, you could see the video of your 5G video iPod on the screen. Too much work IMHO.
