cheap ipod car charger?

    hi everyone...well, thanks to your advice i'm now happily getting around with my ipod blasting in the car using just a $6 little radio shack hookup plug...and i think the sound quality is perfectly great for my needs...
    but now i'm wondering what y'all would suggest buying to recharge the ipod in the car? i'm not really needing fancy hardware, just a reliable way to recharge so i don't have to wait to do it at home on the ibook. thanks so much.

    Do a Google search for "Belkin F8v7058 Apl" and I think you'll have what you need. It plugs into the 12V outlet in the console and the little wire you already have plugs into it and the AUX input. It's cable plugs into the iPod dock connector at the bottom of your iPod. It won't charge your iPod if the car is off though, but when your Prius is running your iPod will charge.

    I recently bought an inverter/charger unit (approx. $25) from Costco. It plugs in to your 12v outlet and has 120v and USB outlets for charging different devices.

    One thing, if you suddenly have a bit of a buzzing or humming sound, you may need to get a Ground Loop Isolator. You can get one at Crutchfield. This would go between your AUX input and your iPod.
