Pentagon officials have confirmed that the Air Force's Wright Laboratory asked the Pentagon for $7.5 million to develop a chemical weapon that would turn enemy soldiers gay, and then make them horny.
I don't know where they ever got such a perverse idea, but they may have been inspired by "The Nude Bomb", the 1980 movie sequel to Get Smart about a terrorsit weapon that makes people's clothing fall off. I hope that the Penatgon is not developing future weapons based on plots of other bad movies.

Well - it might actually work!

Turning your armed forces into a bunch of flamers would be hysterical!!

How can you fight a war when you might get dirt under your nails! Or Mess up your hair!!

Or you are too busy looking at your pal's rump instead of focused on blowing... Errr LOL

Wait a minute... isn't it a mortal sin in Islam to be gay?...

This was almost as good as covering our bombs in bacon fat so Islamic Terrorists go straight to hell!

    LOL

It just shows how very, very homophobic they are. Homosexuality is such a dark and sinful think, it must be possible to use it in a weapon!

I have trouble believing this is true, but I do hope they are looking for creative ways to defeat enemies without the use of nukes, etc.

About the pork fat-covered bombs: I haven't heard that. But I do know that the British dipped their bullets in pork fat during the Sepoy Rebellion, and I was taught that this worked!

Uh oh, I think the military's Wright Laboratory has been secretly testing the Gay chemical weapon, over the years in the constant quest to improve the quick & long lasting effect of the weapon. They did the testing it on unsuspecting US citizens by adding it into the water supply.. <_< They noticed a large exodous of gay people in the 90's who all of the sudden started "coming out" so to speak. To handle such a large influx of people they created Gay Days at WDW where the military could secretly head count the majority that attend... ;)

The labratory has noted, however that the chemical only works on certain people and is not 100% effective at this time, thus they are asking for more money... ;)

Nope it is not a sin in Islam. It is 'approved' on many levels, that way a man a slate his desires with out soiling a woman. It is well known among people serving over there that don't go out alone or you might get raped by young arab men (Not in a combat zone but other Gulf States).

The rumor that the Brits used pork fat on their bullets was a cause of Sepoy Rebellion among Muslims and Using cow fat was why the Hindus fought. The truth was petrol grease.

I stand corrected. (Though surely there is something we can do with pork fat or other parts. Give them high cholesterol or something....)

My brother has a not-too-bright Muslim acquaintance whom he convinced that it was not okay to use KFC's spork (that plastic utensil that is like a spoon with fork points) because "spork" has "pork" in it. (Or maybe I'm my brother's victim here because I believe the story....)

In many cultures and religions the psychological weapon of taking away the after life has been used. but generally has not been effective on the large scale of things.

There have been rumors of burying Muslims in pig skins to deter terrorism by taking away the after life but the problem still persists as there are always exceptions.

Crucifixion was one such weapon that many people may have some familiarity with. A death to impose dishonor and even to some taking away the bodies ability to be buried at all and afterlife along with mutilation essentially trapping ones spirit in limbo as you did not die touching the ground.

The same is done to our own troops in Iraq with dragging burnt corpses though streets and cutting of heads and keeping them, and dumping the headless body. the Idea of resting in peace is shattered that way in our society. To disrespect the dead or to cause death in a disrespectful way generally just inflates the aggression and problem. This idea sickens us as to be buried incomplete.

Often times one can simply change the rules. Technically the 9 11 terrorists would not go to heaven as they died not touching the ground, however changing the rule to make it ok for a holy war and killing infidels apparently made it ok for them. A lot of beliefs are not exactly set in stone but just guidelines.

Technically if we all followed Leviticus type law we would be a pretty harsh people. Why we would have to kill our own children if they talked back to us! but this does not happen. Even the most strict of fundamentalists don't follow every code and contradiction, they use what fits there needs best.

I used to drive a livestock truck and one of the loads we hauled was hogs to the Hormel factory in Tacoma, WA. Pigs had a tendancy to pack together during the journey some would overheat and die others would be smothered. Pigs are pretty smart and depending on the wind direction within about 10-20 miles from the factory they would all start getting restless. By the time we were just a mile or two away they would be quite agaitated. Anyway, to make a long story short at the end of the journey there were always at least 1-4 hogs dead and after unloading, never an easy task, we would take the dead ones down to the rendering shed. First time I went down there I asked what they did there and they said that they rendered the fat from the hog for use in various products such as the waxy lubricant for bullets. I think that was about 1973 and I immediately thought about the Yom-Kippur war.

By the way, if I heard correctly on the news tonight, this whole Gay Bomb idea was launched in 1994. So much for Bush being behind it....

I also read that it was a specific researcher who requested the funds, and it was turned down.

"Air Force spokeswoman Lt. Col. Cathy Reardon said the idea was proposed by an Air Force researcher at a lab at Brooks Air Force Base in Texas, but it was rejected by the Defense Department. Officials noted that the Air Force constantly is considering funding proposals.

No money was spent, Reardon said, and no such weapons are being considered."

    and

"The proposal also offered other ideas, such as a "sex attractant" chemical that would make "annoying and injurious creatures" like stinging bugs more aggressive and draw them to the enemy's position. Another chemical would leave such a strong stench, the enemy would be detectable for weeks.

A portion of the proposal notes that some of the chemicals could be used on both enemy personnel and civilians and would require decontamination countermeasures to nullify the effects.

A Defense Department spokesman told FOX News that he was not aware of any "love bomb" proposal but called the idea one of the most ridiculous things he'd heard."

You've got to admit at least they are thinking out of the box.

Maybe the Who? Me? bomb would work in countries where foecal odor is considered offensive. I say we surrender to the others....

Then again, I can't hold my nose that long....

A weapon that would keep people from killing each other?

This will never, *ever* be built.

attitudes such as that are what are perverted and wrong in this world not someone's sexual orientation.
