What do you good Pchat brethren use to get the fingerprint off the touch screen? I use facial tissues and they get the fingerprints off alright but then I have tissue dandruff all over the screen.
    Suggestions?

From an earlier tip, I use a micro-fiber cleaning cloth - no lint residue
to leave. To wipe the other surfaces, swifter dry wipes. Hope this helps.

I am using the wipes designed for computer screens and they work great. I have used the micro-fiber cloth and the one that came with my glasses but I like the computer wipes better.

I use either computer wipes if they're handy or a lens cleaning (microfiber type) cloth that is a little damp. either work fine.

Kensington Wipes (designed for laptop PCs). Comes in two packets, a 'wet' cloth and a 'dry' cloth. Use wet first, and dry with the dry one.

That type of cleaner has actually been recommended against. I've heard some say that the vinegar based one is OK, but I don't know what the source of that info is and can't confirm that it's true. The owner's manual recommends a damp cloth and specifically says that the screen can be damaged by commercial cleaners.

I don't have the link available, but Lexus has a VERY nice online tutorial for the NAV system (almost identical to the Prius) and there is a brief discussion of cleaning the screen there.

I use Klear Screen at http://www.klearscreen.com on my Prius, laptop and desktop screen. I have used it for 2 + years with no problems. FWIW :D

I'm in the moistened microifiber lens cloth camp, specifically one of the pouches that Oakley sunglasses come in. 8)

Mostly, just sitting on my can. Actually, the beginning of school is always hectic, so I've viewed PC 2 or 3 times a week. I just haven't posted anything in quite a while. That and the fact that I have election fever

You can keep a 20-30 ml mini spraybottle (with the push down top) filled with windex (vinegar based) and a 3M microfiber cloth. It is neat beacuse you can stick it anywhere in your Prius without using a lot of room, and take it out whenever those finger smudges become annying.
