    Hey Frank,

This was the new Jim Pattison Toyota dealership in the Surrey auto mall (by the 152 exit on Hwy 1 - the place with the multi-coloured light show in the dealer windows at night). Aside from the dealership you went to on Lougheed, this is the only other factory authorized Toyota body shop in the GVRD.

The biggest problem I found was actually getting in the door. Depending on the dealership, they were booking appointments 3 weeks to 2 months in the future. Sounds like they need a few more shops in this area (especially considering the number of poor drivers).

Not sure exactly how it worked with ICBC - I deal with Canadian Direct for my optional coverage (cheaper, plus they offer a hybrid discount & safe driver training course discount), so they handled everything on their side. Aside from the initial report to ICBC, I never talked to them (which was nice, seeing as how it took an hour on hold for me to talk to them for the initial report).

I asked for another Toyota (and the Camry was all they had in-stock). I suppose if I really wanted to feel very good when I got back in the Prius, I could've taken a domestic model as a rental :).
