Washington DC Just picked up my Black #9 this evening I started talking to dealers back in September. Didn't put a deposit down but told them I was interested if they got one. Some said they put me on the list, some were blase. Gave em a list of colors/packages, but then had to change it. I was willing to take a #7 or a #9 I took the wife to see it and she said you HAVE to get a #9 I asked why, and she said - Because you're a GEEK Hard to argue with that Anyway, I just kept poking my head in the dealerships reminding them I was alive and interested. Got a call a week ago saying that a black #9 tan interior was on the boat headed to New York, and the guy ahead of me on the list wanted ONLY grey interior. Did I want it? Yep It docked 2/17, and was supposed to be at the dealership next week. This afternoon I got a call saying a deal had fallen through on an identical one, did I want it? Yep So, I just got home with it. By the time I got to the dealership they had already sold the one arriving next week too. Paid MSRP, plus MSRP for the Port Adds (Mats and Wheel Locks), Delivery and $100 processing. Tomorrow we drive
Montréal, Québec, Canada We ordered a 2004 Prius Silver or Black We (unfortunatelly) still have a Subaru Impresa 1993 which gets 8L / 100Km (which isn't bad actually compared with the 10 or even 14 L / 100 Km we see these days). We ordered in January and expect delivery mid April (2004 hopefully). ----- Like another poster said.... there isn't many foreign people here......
2004 Seaside Pearl #9 that I took delivery on last week. 1990 teal Acura Integra LS 2D hatchback with 205,000 and 33 mpg when I sold it last week.
i'm in San Diego, 17 years, before that 20 years in san francisco, and before that 23 years in chicago black; '04 option 8, and my previous car was/is a lincoln which l loved a lot, tho it did spend some time being towed hither and thither with various ailments over the years. i'm reupholstering the prius in my own tie-dyed leather as accents along with a leather kit from somewhere, being done in ocean beach. artie
Danny, i saw an '04 Black outside La Fondue (le?) in Saratoga, CA, this evening, and pointed it out to the couple we were dining with. it really looked good! better than i expected for a black car. of course, a black car will really exercise that A/C system in this neck of the woods! but it did look great.

The coastal town of Pacifica, CA, 15 minutes away from San Francisco. Seaside Pearl #6 Used to drive a 95 Honda Accord
I am a transplanted Albertan from Edmonton now currently in Whittier, CA. Just took delivery of my silver package 9 on thursday last and now have over 1100 miles on the "clock". Love the way you can work in the car with the bluetooth taking and making calls. The car is not perfect for spending so much time on the highway - but it is a more than capable vehicle for the city. My VW Tdi was much better in that regard. :guns:
North Aurora, Illinois (far west suburb of Chicago) 04 Salsa Red #9 delivered yesterday (27 Feb 2004), as ordered and for MSRP, after 4.5 month wait. Traded in an 02 Prius (brilliant blue pearl) with nav and cruise, 45,000 miles. Car before the 02 was a 94 Corolla 5-speed with 185,000 miles.
Hi! 2004 BC Super White from Berkeley, CA. (Purchased at Moses Lake, WA and driven back home by little old me.) Also own: 2000 Tundra (17.9-22.1 MPG) 4X4 V-8 with everything on it. I use it for my trips up in the mountain country. But now I think may sell it for a Highlander next year. Tundra is an AWESOME truck though and it is very clean burning and efficient for a truck. 1999 Honda Interceptor Motorcycle (40-80 MPG depending on how I ride it.) Xo
2002 Prius just bought to make the wait for the 2004 easier. 40 miles south of DC in Stafford VA (Aquia Harbour)and can use the HOV3 by myself thanks to VA regulations for the I95 commute from Hell. Coming down from a 2000 Jaguar XJ8 and having severe withdrawal symptoms. Surprisingly, the Jag gets 19mpg long term. One amazing thing though: The Jag trip computer notes 2700 miles since last reset, 19mpg, and an average speed of 32mph! So you think you are zooming down the freeway at 75 eh? No more need for picking up Slugs. For those outside the DC metropolitan area - don't ask.
