2005 Prius 105,000 miles - It is time to consider other options than the dealer. Does anyone have any recommendations for the routine 5,000 mile service other than the dealer or DIY?

Scottsdale or the North East Phoenix valley preferred.
    Thanks!

Any competent mechanic can to the routine services on a Prius it is not different than a normal car. Ask around to friends and family for recommended independent mechanics.

The problem is finding that "competent mechanic". I have been considering Sun Devil Auto but there is stuff about them in ripoffreport.com

    My neighbors use their dealers!

You could check the Mechanics Files on CarTalk. On the right side, near the bottom, put in your zip code and find recommendations...
