Yes, I used to work in a Corvair shop. Put the car on the hoist, disconnect everything, and lift the body up off the engine.

The next poster once got a speeding ticket for 173 kmh.

Nope, I have never received a speeding ticket in my life, and I hope I didn't just jinx myself for saying that. Then again, I'm not sure if the Beninese police even know what a traffic ticket is!

The next poster has been on the roof of their house to tweak an antenna for better reception.

    Nope.

I have all of my yard on drip and timers. I don't enjoy standing there with a hose in my hand. I'll do a little hand watering of pots, but they tend to die.

I will be heading out to the yard to do some cleanup and weedeating.

The next poster is doing laundry today.

Not really, since I have long ago accepted that some people are born malcontents and will be unhappy no matter what. I generally try to avoid those people.

The next poster had an absolutely fabulous dinner on a patio at the beach listening to the waves rolling in.

Yes, very true, and further, I know that if you want big fish you have to use big bait.

The next poster has a very sore neck from focussing on the computer screen and is about to get up and "walk it off".

    No. My neck is fine.

The next poster wants to fit a couch or a love seat in the Prius, but doesn't think they would fit.

I wish I had to worry about that, but no. We have a Prius Classic, which has no folding rear seat. Good luck with that.

The next poster just came back from a summer trip.

No summer trip for me this year, but I did take my better half to the airport this morning for a trip to San Diego.

The next poster had fun making sand candles today.

The weather in San Diego is perfect. Too bad you couldn't come.

Sorry, no sand castles. I had fun raking up bougainvilla, weedeating grass and pruning my lemon tree. I also played with the dogs. Tomorrow I'll have fun working on replacing my kitchen door.

The next poster also played with their pet(s) today.

Yes, I did play with my pets today, all three of them, Jasper, Sushi, and Mikado. I'm thinking about adding a dog to the managerie.

The next poster played with some kids today too. (Little Maddie walked for the first time today, right into my arms!)

yep. the cats consider a good nap on us as some good quality time, and our parrot got a good all-over scratching and lots of interaction.

edit: oops! crossposting! no kids today, but that's great that little Maddie walked to you! (my 5-month-old niece is also named Madison :))

the next poster gave a good head-scratching to a hyacinth macaw today.
