What do you expect from a guy elected by the Supreme Court?

It "happened to you" because more voters disagreed with your political viewpoints than agreed with you in the last election.

    Ahh another sore LOSER! ;)

Who was it that demanded a recount? Of course the STUPID floridians got the blame for the hanging chads.

Thos hanging chads sure didnt seem to matter in past Dem election winners.... <_<

Face it the majority ruled in favor of a change, after dealing with the oral office and half hearted missions and a prez that was impeached. :p

Regretfully Bush has started to revert back to the neanderthal days, kinda like the new gieco commercials..
    :(

Oh well if the majority rules again in 08' we will have another CROOK in the oval office....

Following the election, recounts conducted by various United States news media organizations indicated that Bush would have won if certain recounting methods had been used (including the one favored by Gore at the time of the Supreme Court decision) but that Gore would have won had a full state-wide recount been conducted.

After the election, USA Today, The Miami Herald, and Knight Ridder commissioned accounting firm BDO Seidman to count undervotes, that is, ballots which did not register any vote when counted by machine. BDO Seidman's results, reported in USA Today , show that under the strictest standard, where only a cleanly punched ballot with a fully removed chad was counted, Gore won by three votes. Under all other standards, Bush won, with Bush's margin increasing as looser standards were used. The standards considered by BDO Seidman were:

Lenient standard. Any alteration in a chad, ranging from a dimple to a full punch, counts as a vote. By this standard, Bush won by 1,665 votes.
Palm Beach standard. A dimple is counted as a vote if other races on the same ballot show dimples as well. By this standard, Bush won by 884 votes.
Two-corner standard. A chad with two or more corners removed is counted as a vote. This is the most common standard in use. By this standard, Bush won by 363 votes.
Strict standard. Only a fully removed chad counts as a vote. By this standard, Gore won by 3 votes.

Either way you cut it, the election in Florida was VERY close and if your candidate lost, you could easily claimed it was "robbed" in some respect -- what do you think Bush people would be saying if Gore had won?

Sore Loser, No way. But Al won fair and square, if the people in all the counties of FL. were allowed to vote and not sent away because of a "dumb poll worker" and a name that might have been misspelled, but all the poll workers knew them but turned them away. That makes me mad.

Now The true vote is a popular vote we ALL KNOW WHO WON don't we. and it was not BUSH

here is another couple funny clips of you know who. :

Lets add the not counted absentee ballots from the military personell over seas, or the other absentee ballots .. or we could throw in a few dead voters for Mr Gore.. Bush won the election fair & square. it was gore that made the stink and was a sore loser, he even got to show his A** on TV. We would probibly be attending mosk services and hailing praises to ahla.. had he come to office..... ( there I matched your spew) :p :)

The final count did show bush won the election, if it makes you feel better then by all means feel free that bush stole the election....

Its refreshing to see there are still those out there that cant forget nor can they stop kicking the perverbial dead horse... ;)

amazing, i teach my kids to move on and grow up and just accept life's twists and turns for real things that happen to them.

you cant keep torturing yourself with past history. the real shame is:

the dems ran a guy as poor as algore who to this day is a walking disaster
algore LOST his own home state - if he won his own HOME STATE it would not be an issue
you should never leave the decision to any judge - in any contest - if you do so you are at fault if you lose.

whatever - i hope you can move past this over the next decade or so. it must suck to live life like that.

I don't think the islamic terrorists are going to hit missouri, so from your angle... you could be right..

As long as you don't mind the others in the country being blown up, it's cool.

Those poor schmucks in the coastal cities... bummer...

You're right. The last election is where the Republicans used a lot of money and created the Swiftboat organization for the sole purpose of being able to smear the Democratic Candidate with lies. Mudslinging at it's worst. And still the election was very close.

Are we really surprised at anything this administration does when they've demonstrated their character by their election winning strategies? How can we then be surprised by their subsequent actions? Plame. AGs being fired. Lies to Congress. <strike>Supreme Dictatorship.</strike> Executive Privelege.

Wow, you sound bitter about the whole thing. Is it because you believed in Kerry's fake war wounds and those mean bad veterans called him out on it?

One bragging point I can't refute... Albert Gore Jr. did become Vice President. George W. Bush can't say that...  :p :D

Regardless of who should have won or lost the Elections.
The people who lost out were the American people. Particularly the ones who lost things they cant get back, like there lives.

The American people lose out every time we buy into propaganda and elect not a Rep or Dem but a corporatist.

There is no perfect candidate/leader and there is no perfect Political party.

I find it sad that people on both sides of the party lines swallow the propaganda that is done on both sides.

Get a hint, we are all Americans, getting divided up distracts from real issues and solutions. If the amount of work and energy that was put into slamming Reps and Dems went into improving the Country for all Imagine what could happen!

The sad thing is, no one will agree with me on what I post here. This will be subject to the same bickering and slamming that is done by both sides.

I have been invited to enough political rallies and attended on both sides to see that once you cut though the BS and propaganda most of what is being said is the same. most of the goals are the same, Ok, so there are some belief issues and policy issues that differ. Thats ok, that is healthy. Respectfully disagreeing is ok. Constructive criticism is ok but lets keep it that way.
Anyone who buys into the idea that the other side is just pure evil just means you have lost.
If you can understand the whole Idea of "divide and conquer" thats what has happened in America.

It is important to be able to have a mind that can be clear enough to see though BS and to help other to be able to see though BS. EVEN IF ITS YOUR OWN! I know I am guilty of it myself but work to improve our situation for America instead.

For example, I could be out there trying to slam other peoples Ideas and believes while promoting yet others. But instead I focus on good old fashion American Improvement regardless of what others beliefs are.
I feel that others should do the same.

I'm with you 100% Jeweler Dave.
Not enough of us yet to force a 3rd party to cut through the corporate republicrats.
(Not a wingnut 3rd party on the outer wings, but a centrist one for all of us fed up with partisan BS that people get suckered into.)
