    Hey Guys,

Is it possible to buy the Touring edition wheels somewhere (either online or from the dealership or something)? I didn't get the Touring edition #1 because there was no way in the world I was going to find one around here (Bay Area), and #2 I didn't feel like the price difference was worth the suspension difference (I like a smoother ride anyway). But I find myself wishing I did get the Touring solely for the wheels...I really like how they look w/o the covers.....anyways....any ideas?

Thanks in advance for the help!

I'll tell what, If you are going to spend 1500 bucks just for rims, I will trade you my touring wheels and tires for 1500 bucks plus your old rims and tires. hehe. 2,200 miles so far on them. If you must buy them get them from here much cheaper, or try to find them in a junk yard. http://www.toyotaoemparts.com/ your going to have to call them, their website doesn't do 2007 yet. Why not just buy a set of aftermarket tires and rims, alot more choices there. These tires alone are going to cost you at least 500 bucks I think.

are they really $1500? I thought the touring upgrade was only $895 (so I assumed the wheels would be less)......alright, well, I guess I need to rethink ;)

    after looking at the website:

jeez! they are $1500! how is that possible? Why is it that the touring upgrade is only 895 and the wheels are more expensive? Man, I should've just gotten the Touring...blah.

Probably because their is little actual difference in the price between your 15 inch rims that you already have and the 16 inch rims you want to purchase. At most this probably only actually adds $100 to the Actual cost of building the car. Problem is you already bought 15 inch rims and tires when you bought your car.
Your reasoning would be similar to if you went and bought a 42 inch TV for $1500 and then decided you wish you would have gotten a 46 inch TV for $2000, if the difference in price is only $500 how come I can't just pay $500 for the 46 inch now after the fact (unless you can return the current TV to the store and get a full credit off towards the bigger one) Perhaps you could talk someone into giving a credit on the 16"s for a trade in.
