i'm sure this is a duplicate post but i was wondering if anyone knows how to disable the navigation prevention "feature" of when u go over 5mph it won't let u enter cmds? that is, w/o having to tear apart the car...

There are many posts here dealing with this issue. It involves cutting the motion wire to the NAV system and inserting a switch, so you can fool it into thinking the car is not moving.

    Tom,
I believe the OP said that they did not want to cut wires to do this. They want a software solution if I am not mistaken.

This is not correct for a 2007 model. It worked on 04 & 05 models but not after. As indicated, there are many posts on this subject. On an 07 you can either live with it, cut the wire or purchase a lockpick unit from Coastaletech. After getting the 07, we tried to live with it but ended up purchasing the lockpick unit. It only takes a minute to install and can be easily unpluged if you want to.
