An interesting display of our Presidents maturity.

    That's pretty good. I think it can be used in a commercial:

    "Bush had a message for Suddam. . ."
    <clip>

    "Bush had a message for Al Quiada. . ."
    <clip>

    "Now Bush has a message for working families. . ."
    <clip>

    And finally, Bush has a message for virgin-growth forests, national parks, and alternative fuels. . ."
    <clip>

    I'd hate for video I've been in to get out were I running for office...but would it make me a lesser candidate?

    Sure wish everyone could just stick to substance...I also wish money grew on trees....

    Evan,

    I couldn't agree more about how irrelevant a playful obscene gesture is -- or should be, to our electoral process. But this President has an entire team of obfuscators who work very hard to hide the substantive issues to play up his supposed religiosity. And they have assured us that the "Frat boy" is a thing of the past.

    So this video, IMO, is very relevant not for it's supposed obscenity, but for the hypocrisy it exposes.

    There is an interesting conversation in the background of this video. Apparently Bush's aides are not taken aback by his gesture, but only worry about whether the camera is on. Again, a perfect example of this administrations preoccupation with image over substance.

    Mark

    And to JustWatchme, seeing as how Bush requires a loyalty oath before you can get near him, it's much less likely to find candid photos of him making a fool of himself. The fact that Kerry does not, exposes him to this kind of thing all the time. Bush's handlers have worked hard to suggest that Bush, if not an actual deity, is close to one. And he never makes mistakes.

    Kerry is a flawed human being. That's another reason why I'm voting for him.

    I hope you all understand that I was kidding in my previous post. I usuallytry to stay as far away from political debate as possible. Just trying to make a joke and lighten the mood.

    Here is another copy of the video of our beloved President and his salute. It\'s also downloadable.

    It\'s been made into a longer video and it just might make some people cry.
