Another newbie

    I purchased a 2007 Touring edition with package 6 yesterday. It is Seaside Pearl.... and sweet! I don't want to work today. I just want to go driving and figure out how to program everything. This site has been most helpful and I look forward to posting with all of you.

    Well, given that they discontinued Tideland Pearl after 2005, I suppose you picked one of the six acceptable colors. :)

    I know the of having this brand new Prius in the parking lot while you're at work. It's just sitting there, smiling, waiting for you to come out and play with it. And good luck sleeping for the next couple days.

    And as you can see, I'm kinda partial to the color... I even painted my face Seaside Pearl... LOL

    Yeah, it's too bad the Tideland color was discontinued... that may have been my primary choice, I really liked it. However, I wanted an 06 model for the new features (hi-res screen, MP3, Aux-in, etc...) and feature-set was more important to me than color. ;)

    Thanks for the photo. Now I know what a Seaside Pearl looks like. I've seen PriusTouring07's comments on the colour, but was thinking that it was closer to a grey rather than a blue. It looks a lot like the the Crystal Blue (Australian colour option) that I have.

    Also welcome to the club. Being a new member myself, it is a great community to in. Enjoy the group and your car. :D
