The dems ran on the Moron ticket the last two elections and both Morons lost resulting in a new strategy: Run the dead chihuahua.

    Her name is Hillary...

    ------

This was just written by FiftyOne MPG.

At least chihuahua is spelled correctly.

That's entirely different. Neocons calling anyone to the left of Ann Coulter names is fair game. But calling neocons names is strictly verbotten.

I agree with Stev0 - we have to protect the minorities on the board, after all...

That's because I spelled it correctly first. I was being "quoted".

Reminds me of the 2004 presidential debates when Bush sneeringly referred to Massachusetts (Kerry's home state) as 'Taxachussetts', then let out his little Beavis and Butthead 'heh-heh' laugh at how clever he was. Yeah, that's how I want the POTUS to act.

I have no doubt his legions of followers ate it up in the same way I'm sure they ate up all the people at the 2004 RNC convention wearing little bandages with purple hearts on them. And yet, even with these types of very public, very juvenile displays by Bush and his most ardent supporters, many people still voted for him and he still won in 2004.

Yes, I would call that name calling and it apparently slipped under my radar. Try as I might, I simply do not have the time to read every single PriusChat post. On the other hand, when the thread title has the word "rightards," that's pretty hard to miss.

Also, when a thread I've not seen before suddenly has more than 20 replies in a matter of a few hours, clearly there's more going on than a simple, "no you do not need to engage for regenerative braking." So I take a look at those.

Most of you should know by now that we really don't step in very often. You probably also know that when we do, we're blasted by the people who agreed with the offender and blasted by the people who accuse us of having not acted soon enough. Either way, we usually get called names and have to sit and watch as other threads are created spewing even more hate in response to the hate that was removed. In the end, this Hitler Nazi is screwed.

No matter how hard some try, I for one will simply not allow anyone to drag this forum into the name-calling hate-mongering depths that have overrun so many other forums. Agree with my actions or not, you have to admit that you would stop coming around if we did nothing.

    Hear hear.

Not Tony's fault if some dish it out and can't take it, by the way.

He and Evan do a marvelous job. Have you looked at how many members Priuschat has? 24,472 as of this afternoon. No possible way to read everything - that's what the "Report" button is FOR,

Though I do personally tend to use it for Spam, etc, not for being called a brain dead liberal, probably because it just doesn't bother me much. Actually, it tends to lend weight to my arguments in a debate when an opponent is reduced to name calling.

Hey, I'm missing my own party!!

All I did was connect the dots. Someone said the dems were running the dead chihuahua. I looked at the news and Hillary is in the lead, I was assuming that you were calling Hillary the dead chihuahua.

Maybe we need two FHOP's... FHOP for civilized disagreement and FHOP Unlimited where a moron can be called a moron and Hillary can be a Chihuahua. :p

Why are we concerned about public figures being called names? Aren't they fair game? Fellow participants in the forums should be polite with each other, and name calling against an individual participant should be out of bounds, but certainly not being able to bash political figures!

And that is better than what you called Newt Gingrich?

    "Pot", meet "kettle".

And when you do step in, it's because you are forced by some trouble maker like Pinto Girl. ;)

We really should get down to formal login names too. Who are we to call her "Pinto Girl"?

Does she look like the pinto bean, or the horse or what? I'm sure it's an innocent name one way or the other, but maybe it's a racial slur...

    Don't hold your breath.
It's just another in a long string of unsubstantiated (link-less), liberal drivel.

You do realize now . . . you have just called darelldd a neocon.
Yep, the shotgun approach works well for you Steve-oh! :p

Darelldd also didn't care to go hunt down what is nothing more than a "mommmeeeeee, he said ______" quote.

If it were something so egregious that it deserved its own thread in order to "talk about it," why haven't the moderators closed down the offending string or reprimanded FiftyOneMPG for his "dead chihuahua" remark?

This is nothing more than a continuation of the liberal game plan of try-to-bash-conservatives-at-every-conceivable-opportunity.

Would you people like some cheese with that whine?
