Hi I have a 2007 Prius I bought back in March. Up until a few weeks ago I was using a Motorola Razr v3 and had no problems. I lost my phone on vacation and replaced it with a Motorola v360.

I deleted my old phone out of the Bluetooth list and got my new phone to registrar and connect. Problem is when I start the car, the phone doesn't auto-connect even though that option is selected. Even if I go and tell it to manually connect I get an immediate message back saying that the pairing code is wrong or the phone isn't set up correctly. I see the Bluetooth connection symbol on my phone, so I know it is trying. I have the Prius as a device on the phone set to connect automatically.

If I go through the registration process again, I can get it to connect.

Anyone ever run into this problem?

1.Do you have any other BT devices set up in your cell phone?
2.Any other BT phones programed in you Prius phone?
3.Does any passenger in your car have a BT phone turned on when this happens?

Just curious before I can offer further guidance. Make sure your cellphone has the proper pairing code for the Prius BT

No other blue tooth phones registrar ed in my phones list.

    I can manually connect.

Go to index screen, choose phone
Choose bluetooth and registrar. get message initate pairing from phone.

Go to bluetooth on phone, seleect hands-free device. Select initiate pairing.

    Phone connects.

I have to go through this process everytime I start my car.

If you have *everything* set up properly and the phone doesn't auto-connect, there is always the possibility that the BT transmitter/module has experienced some sort of failure. You didn't mention your provider but, IIRC, T-Mobile was the only provider that offered this phone and it has been discontinued.

Thus, I'm wondering if they gave you a refurbished V360 as a replacement for your V3 and, well, you just got a bad refurb. So, it couldn't hurt to bring the phone and your Prius, if possible, to a T-Mobile store and just dump this issue in their lap. If they happen to have another V360 lying around, you could run out to your car and see if the issue is actually with that model, your settings, or *your* V360.

Also, if all else fails, you could then request that they provide you with another model, free of charge, that auto-connects without issue. All BT phones should be able to do that, even if they're able to do nothing else.
