All my bulbs got crunched,I have the new taillight bodies, and went to get bulbs...

To my surprise,No one lists anything for the 2007 Prius!....!I have searched everywhere online....even the owners manual is vague...

Does this mean you have to buy new bulbs from a genuine Toyota dealer?

I commonly see a listing for the 2006,specifying Sylvania 2825 and 7440....but the brake light is listed as LED for the 2007....

Does anyone know what commonly available bulbs will work in a 2007?

    Thanks very much!....Bob

I understand that the lights are all LEDs. Hence, you won't find a specific bulb. The LEDs are an array of lights that you'll probably have to go to the dealer to get replaced. And be sure you got the right tail light bodies to go with your 2007 prius.

The brake lights are LEDs and probably part of the back light housing assembly. The rear turn signal lamps are 992 (7440A). The tail light is 2825. The Back up light is 7440. Have I missed any?

That is 100% correct Bill,Thanks!...Basically all the ones you can replace are same as the 2006...ie,7440 and 2825.....

Got both taillight housings replaced easily enough, through the little access doors...Only tricky part is there are wire securing clips on the ends of the taillight studs....remove those, unscrew the 2 10mm nuts, and give a firm YANK to unclip the other 2 friction mounts, and that's it...

On installation,When tightening the nuts ,only use very minimal torque(!/4 turn beyond handtight) or you can crack your new TL!...

New baby looks sharp again with those snazzy rear taillights!!!

I got one on Ebay for $76 shipped, had a 3/4 crack in the very bottom, not an issue to me....
Got one from a yard in MN....PAM auto supply..St Cloud.they still have a right one...$140 plus 17 shipping

Danny on this site offered to get one for $162,plus shipping..

Hoy-Fox also has a price of $164 for a new one.....

Some salvage places want more than $165.And one on Ebay went for $174 yesterday...

Man these things break very easily.....It's a shame they don't sell just the lens, but it is all glued together,obviously....They are pretty though....Good Luck,Bob

I just noticed this morning that the clear plexiglass cover on my tail light assembly is cracked (badly! there's now a hole in it!). do i need to replace the whole assembly or can I just have the top/cover (the clear plexi part) replaced?
