    hi there,

i'm considering getting a cargo liner too; how do you get under the cargo space? does the stiff cargo liner make it hard to open the hinged cargo floor and access that roomy space beneath it?

    thanks!

    Hi

Nope, it is still easy to get to. The weathertech one from the priuschat store is a bit pricey I will admit, however it fits the back perfectly and does a better job holding things from moving than the carpet.

Its pretty light, so you can still lift up the lid, probably just as easy as the carpet if not easier.

    Hope this helps :)

    thanks BP.
now I have to get my tires inflated a little more (they're 35/33 now) to 42/40 and see if I can get better than 39mpg here in hilly SF. I've had the 2004 for a couple of weeks now (got it lightly used with 38k on it, pkg #9) and am still on the learning curve re: mpg. my "commute" taking my kid to school and me to work consists of two 12min jogs . . . not really long enough to get the hybrid system really up to max efficiency.
