    It helped that I started the drive with a green bar battery (7 bars?)

    What's the terrain and traffic like? Only 14 miles in 30-35 minutes. Only a few regen "cars" along the way suggest a moderate stop/start cycle at low speeds (<35, I'd say).

    It's city for the first five minutes and country for the balance. Very hilly, and mostly downhill (35-45 mph the whole way). If you focus on P&G it works like magic. I think I could get this regularly if I install an EV-only switch.

    The drive home usually drags the average down about 10mpg.

    HMMM - that's exactly how far I have to drive to work :huh: Nice MPG number :)
