How long did you guys wait for delivery

    Really pissed off by the dealer in NJ. Price is acceptable though not exciting, but they keep changing the delivery date. I begin to wonder when i can get my car. Any experience to share?

    I bought mine second hand so I had to wait a week while the dealer replaced a noisy shock absorber and repainted the bonnet which had several stone chips.

    4.5 billion years, although I didn't personally experience ALL of that time... ;)

    I only experienced 6 weeks, but that was back in 2005.

    7 months for me: February '04 through August '04. I got lucky; someone cancelled their order because (due to poor taste) they didn't like the Tideland color when it arrived. My original estimated wait was 14 months.

    About three months for us, back a year ago. There were two we could have driven off the lot, but they were base models. That was just a matter of lucky timing, as once they sold people were waiting again. If we had used our local dealer we would have waited six months.

    3 days wait for a 2007 package 2. I ordered on 9/3/2007 and got 3 days later.

    Hard to say, I put my name down on a list in October '04 and was told I wouldn't get a call until February '06. I started getting calls from them in January '05, but not a model I wanted.

    In April '05 I added another dealer in my search, but that went sour a few days later (the day I mailed the deposit I was told they couldn't get the model I wanted). I decided to be more active in the search and found one about an hour later. That was on a Thursday, so I had to wait until Saturday to pick it up.

    My dealer's currently giving me a delivery date as of yesterday of December 15, 2007, plus or minus two days, assuming either the boat doesn't sink, the train doesn't crash, or the plant doesn't catch fire.

    My fingers are crossed.
