Anyone ever get annoyed by the BEEP every time you press a button surrounding the MFD in the Prius? I hate it. I want to change the fan speed while using the fan only, not the Auto A/C. So I press Climate (beep!) then the desired fan speed (another beep!)

I wish this could be disabled. Anyone know if there is a way?

    I hear you!
The beeping is a bit annoying. Yes, I KNOW I pushed the button, I reached over and DID IT.
I hope someone has an answer to this one :)

There should be display setting to turn off beeps when you touch the screen, if I remember correctly. I like the beep since I can mostly keep my eyes on the road and know I hit the button.

I like the beeps, since there is very little tactile feedback.

I honestly never noticed it. I guess I concentrate on driving too much. If the beep bothers you maybe the radio isn't loud enough.

This works on my '07. I also get annoyed on occasion when hitting the buttons, but as I am getting used to using the voice commands, I find it occasionally useful.

It would be nice to import a custom sound tho.... maybe a "Tivo" type ckick or something.

I have a 2007 package #3 and I can turn the display off... I can get you the exact steps if needed but I am groggy and don't feel like heading outside right now. I think it is just hit the 'Display' button, then hit 'beep off'.... Or it is in the 'INFO' screen (hit the info button on the MFD, not the steering wheel...)
