I'm having the same problem as you describe. Did you get this fixed? If yes, how?

    Sorry for the delayed response.
I've just moved and haven't set up web access from my Home PC yet (where the fix document is).
Occasionally, when the PriusChat site goes down, all the posting attachments seem to get lost in the ether.
I'll repost it on this sticky once I'm reconnected at home.

i've read all the mess about Sirius radio. sucks. i just bought a 07 Prius last week with package 4 which is supposed to be satelite ready. quite disappointed how hard it is to do such a simple things as to add satelite radio to my satelite ready vehicle.

did they come out with anything recently that will avoid all this nonsense?

Honestly I went through the drama of using a Serius tuner and had static issues regardless of the wiring harness setup. While looking through the system menus in the prius computer I noticed one of the sensors is labeled XM which was RED because I was using a Serius reciever. This lead me to believe the prius electronics were designed specifically for the XM reciever and not the Serius. My dealer swapped the reciever for an XM at no charge and I have not had any issues since installing the XM reciever, I love it! Also, looking in the system menu i now see that the XM sensor is now green and all is well.

*** The only thing that bothers me is.. When Serius and XM merge next year, we will most likely have to upgrade our recievers to get the newer programming and I really hope Toyota/XM/Serius can work out their issues with the Prius integration.

    Thanks again,
I saw your document some time ago and brought it with me to my dealer. They showed me that the new harnesses they used including the one they had installed in my prius already came with the wires looped as instructed in the pdf. I double checked the wiring myself and it made no difference. I still had the static audio when using the Sirius reciever. We even tried a different reciever and harness (with wire jumpers), replaced the radio, antenna, and the entire audio system but still no change. However installing an XM reciever instead of the Sirius one fixed the issue.
I still don't understand why? but I'm happy with XM and I can't wait for Sirius and XM to merge. Hopefully theres no issue if I end up having to upgrade to a combo Sirius/XM reciever and hopefully they'll allow more than 16 display characters as well.

    Thanks again.

    Missing Link?

Is the fact that I didn't find the instructions or a link to them just a side effect of being incredibly old and increasingly stupid, or are they really missing?

This can probably be unstickied. The OEM unit came out with a revised fit kit that already had the jumpers installed in the cable.

The current adapter, the TOY-SC1, doesn't have this issue.
